Located in West Tisbury, Massachusetts, R. T. Sylva Masonry specializes in custom Rumford brick fireplaces, interior and exterior veneers, brick and block flatwork, exterior woodburning fireplaces and firepits, internal chimney and firebox component construction, thin brick veneer, and block foundation work.  Family owned and operated by local Islanders for over four decades, the company is currently run by Rick Sylva, son of original founder, Roger T. Sylva.  Having taken over ten years ago after apprenticing alongside his dad for another ten years prior, Rick is proud to carry on the family tradition of fine masonry construction and is personally involved in all stages of your project, from design through completion.  All construction is still completed by Rick himself, who chooses to keep his business small in order to maintain an exceptionally high standard of quality in the work he provides to clients.
